GLO MACARI - Lookin' For Love
GLO MACARI - Lookin' For Love / People Like You ( People Like Me) (Columbia 1971)
Recorded at EMI Studios London in 1971, "Lookin' For Love" by Glo Macari and Slowload is an amazing glam rockin' piece with catchy vocals, crunching guitar and, of course, loud handclaps.
Portuguese issue, produced by Roger Ferris.

Lots of great stuff here!
ReplyDeleteLove your site!!
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt's a weird one this. Slowload's backing and Glo's Snarly vocal take are kind of offset by the God-is-Love church hall chorus. I love Glo's early 60s take on He Knows I Love Him Too Much
ReplyDeleteNot what I expected at all. I thought you said Lou Macari.
ReplyDeleteMan, this is a burner! keep 'em comin' will ya...

Catchy vocals?? Poor vocals more like it. The rest of the song is good though.
